Ecotech Grand Prix 2023: Grand Prize Won by Phytolipid Technologies, Inc.

The Ecotech Grand Prix 2023 was held at the Center of Garage on Saturday, October 21, 2023, to select the winning teams for the Grand Prize and the Company Prize.

 

Starting with the 2020 season, the Tech Planter will evolve its concept to "Deep Issue & Deep Tech Explorer," which will use "Deep Tech," a collection of science and technology, to solve unsolved "Deep Issues. Tech Explorer," which is a collection of science and technology to solve "Deep Issues" through "Deep Tech". We aim to encourage a global perspective from the early stage, and to accelerate new developments through collaboration with the 1371 teams (as of September 1, 2023) of Alumni and others in the overseas Tech Planter hosted by RIVERNESS. On the day of the event, the 336 teams selected from among the 336 teams that applied for Tech Planter 2023Ecotech Grand PrixThe 12 finalist teams from the "Japan's First Technology Innovation Forum" passionately presented their thoughts on how to realize solutions to problems by utilizing diverse technologies such as biomass carbon, material recycling, precious metal recovery, satellite data, and others.

 

The winner of the prestigious Grand Prize was Fight Lipid Technologies, Inc.
Phytolipid Technologies, Inc. gave a presentation titled "Production of Useful Lipids by the Oil and Fat High-Producing Alga Nannochloropsis. The award was given to Phytolipid Technologies, Inc. for the grand prize with all the judges promising to work together to accelerate the challenge of Phytolipid Technologies, Inc. to realize the great vision that was born from the results of the research conducted over many years by the company's representative, Mr. Ohta. With the technology of Phytolipid Technologies, Inc. as a base, we aim to build a sustainable production system of useful substances and pass it on to the next generation.
