The 5th Hiroshima Tech Plan Grand Prix was held, and the Grand Prize went to "Metal Power

(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Shuichiro Takahashi) has announced the launch of the Hiroshima Prefecture's business start-up support program "Livanes, Inc.Hiroshima Tech PlanterThe 5th Hiroshima Tech Plan Grand Prix was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 as part of the "Hiroshima Tech Plan Grand Prix.

On the day of the event, 9 finalist teams and 3 lightning talk teams gave enthusiastic presentations. As a result of the judging by the panel of judges, 7 corporate awards and the Grand Prize were selected.

The winner of the prestigious Grand Prize was "Metal Power" (theme: metal powder combustion technology to achieve carbon neutrality). The team's goal is to develop a powder burner technology that can stably burn iron powder, and to establish a recycling-oriented energy technology that uses the heat generated to reduce and reuse iron oxide. The team was selected for the Grand Prize for their presentation, which showed the passion with which they faced this difficult challenge and their determination to build a team to commercialize the technology.
