The Food Tech Grand Prix 2023 was held at the Center of Garage on Saturday, October 14, 2023, to select the winning teams for the Grand Prize and the Corporate Award.

 

Starting with the 2020 season, the Tech Planter will evolve its concept to "Deep Issue & Deep Tech Explorer," which will use "Deep Tech," a collection of science and technology, to solve unsolved "Deep Issues. Tech Explorer," which is a collection of science and technology to solve "Deep Issues" through "Deep Tech". We aim to encourage a global perspective from the early stage, and to accelerate new developments through collaboration with the 1371 teams (as of September 1, 2023) of Alumni and others in the overseas Tech Planter hosted by RIVERNESS. On the day of the event, the 12 Food Tech Grand Prix finalist teams, selected from among the 336 teams that applied to Tech Planter 2023, passionately presented their ideas for implementing solutions to global food-related issues by utilizing diverse technologies such as food upcycling, taste control, 3D food printing, and plant cell culture. They made passionate presentations of their ideas.

 

The winner of the prestigious Grand Prize was "fabula Co.
fabula Corporation gave a presentation titled "New Construction Materials Using Food Waste: Local Production for Local Consumption of Garbage. The judges all shared the belief that fabula Corporation's challenge will be accelerated by the cooperation of the judges, and the company was awarded the Grand Prize. fabula Corporation's technology will be used as a starting point to promote the reconstruction of the material cycle on the earth, aiming to bring harmony to the earth and people.
