OKAYAMA TECH PLANTER is a program that promotes the creation of a new ecosystem in which research results from universities and research institutions are independently and continuously implemented in society to foster local industries by creating new businesses based on regionally developed technologies and fostering and supporting venture businesses. This is a program that promotes the creation of a new ecosystem in which research results from universities and research institutions are independently and continuously implemented in society and local industries are nurtured. As part of this program, the 7th Okayama Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held to present business plans.
Nine finalist teams have been selected to make presentations after the document screening process.
The keynote speech will be given by Mr. Takuji Namba (President of URBA Co., Ltd.), who launched his company in April 2024 after being a finalist in the 5th Okayama Tech Plan Grand Prix, about how he came to aim for commercialization and his future efforts.

We are also pleased to announce that we have selected a partner company for Okayama Tech Planter 2024.
