The 7th Tochigi Tech Plan Grand Prix was held, and the Grand Prize went to "Trillion Technologies

(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Shuichiro Takahashi), with the aim of discovering and fostering teams that will change the world from the local area, mainly from universities in Tochigi Prefecture, will hold the "Rivanes" on February 22, 2025 (Saturday).The 7th Tochigi Tech Plan Grand PrixThe "Municipalities" were held in the following locations.

On the day of the event, nine finalist teams and one lightning talk team gave enthusiastic presentations. After a panel of judges selected the four corporate awards and the grand prize.

The winner of the prestigious Grand Prize is "Trillion Technologies" (theme: 3D optical shape measurement method for in-line total inspection). The proposed optical frequency comb single-shot 3D tomography imaging technology aims to realize inline total inspection of surface profiles required in machining production lines. This technology was selected for the Grand Prize in recognition of its contribution to the development of industry in Tochigi, which is strong in manufacturing, and its strong motivation to establish itself.
