Gunma Tech Planter 2025 Call for Entries Now Open!

The 5th Gunma Tech Grand Prix is an initiative to discover business seeds in the real tech field (manufacturing, robotics, mobility, IoT, artificial intelligence, materials, biotechnology, medicine, healthcare, food, agriculture, marine development, resources, environment, energy, etc.) from science and technology universities and companies aiming to start a second business based in Gunma Prefecture, and to discover and nurture teams with science and technology and passion to change the world from Gunma Prefecture by providing mentoring and consultation opportunities. The 5th Gunma Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held as an initiative to discover and nurture teams with science and technology and passion to change the world from Gunma Prefecture.

Interested parties are requested to register their entry.

1 Subject
Those who have a vision to change the world and improve the world based on technology seeds in the real tech domain (manufacturing, robotics, mobility, IoT, artificial intelligence, materials, biotechnology, medicine, healthcare, food, agriculture, ocean development, resources, environment, energy, etc.) and have a will to develop new businesses.
Individuals and teams are welcome. Pre-incorporation is acceptable. Already incorporated are also acceptable (no limit on the number of years of incorporation).

2 Application period
Tuesday, April 1, 2025 - Friday, May 23, 2025 18:00

3 Entry Method

Specific entry procedures will be explained at the kick-off event to be held on April 24 (Thursday), as described below. Entry details can also be discussed, so please join us.

4 Judging Criteria
A panel of judges consisting of members from the Gunma Consortium for the Creation and Development of Next-Generation Industries and partner companies will judge the entries based on the following criteria.

5 5th Gunma Tech Plan Grand Prix (7/26)
The 9 business plan applicants that pass the screening process will be selected as finalists and will be invited to present their business plans at the Gunma Tech Plan Grand Prix.
