IBARAKI TECH PLANTER is a program to discover science, technology, and business seeds that could create new industries in Ibaraki Prefecture, which has a large concentration of research institutions. The program also works with educational institutions to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs and researchers. The 8th Ibaraki Tech Grand Prix will be held with the aim of discovering and fostering teams that are passionate about changing the world from Ibaraki Prefecture.

Both individual and team participation is acceptable. Even if you are not incorporated yet, you are welcome to participate.

1st round: Application Screening
Documents will be reviewed based on the information submitted by December 20 (Fri.). Applicants will be asked to submit information about their team, skills, passions, and future plans via web form and video. All applicants will be notified of the screening results and will receive feedback on their applications.
Notification to finalists/web upload
Interviews will be held for the finalists of the Ibaraki Tech Plan Grand Prix who have passed the document screening, with the aim of brushing up their presentations. In addition, interviews can be set up with partners for the purpose of business consultation and developing business alliances.
