KUMAMOTO TECH PLANTER is operated by the "Kumamoto Next Generation Venture Creation Support Consortium" organized by Kumamoto Prefecture, Higo Bank, Ltd. The 10th Kumamoto Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held with the aim of discovering and fostering teams that will change the world from Kumamoto with their next-generation technology and passion for creating nature-symbiotic industries that make the most of local resources such as the natural environment, technology, agriculture, forestry, fisheries products, and culture, based on science and technology. The 10th Kumamoto Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held.

  • Those who have a vision to change the world or improve the world based on technological seeds in the real tech area (manufacturing, robotics, mobility, IoT, artificial intelligence, materials, biotechnology, medicine, healthcare, food, agriculture, marine development, resources, environment, energy, etc.) and have the will to establish or develop a new business. Those who are willing to start up or develop a new business.
  • Both individual and team participation is acceptable.
  • Even before the incorporation of the corporation is acceptable.
  • No limitation on the number of years of incorporation, even if the company is already a corporation.

A panel of judges composed of LIVERNESS and its partners will review the following items

Documents will be reviewed based on the information submitted by Friday, May 30. We will ask you to submit information about your team, skills, passions, and future plans via web form and video. All applicants will be notified of the screening results and will receive feedback on their applications if they so desire.

Finalists determined

Interviews will be held for applicants who pass the document screening to brush up their presentations for the final round. In addition, interviews can be set up with partner companies for the purpose of business consultation and collaboration development.

The 10th Kumamoto Tech Plan Grand Prix

A 7-minute presentation and 7-minute Q&A session will be given to a panel of judges consisting of the Kumamoto Prefecture Next Generation Venture Creation Support Consortium and partner companies. The Grand Prix will be held in a semi-closed session, and in addition to the contestants and partner companies, local companies and universities will also participate. After the judging, an awards ceremony will be held.
