- The "Kansai Tech Planter" will focus on the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, and Wakayama prefectures) to discover and nurture teams that will change the world from the Kansai region. The project will also attract deep issues in Southeast Asia, where countries with diverse cultures, histories, and industries are concentrated, and startups that seek solutions to these issues to Osaka/Kansai, which has an international airport. In 2024, the 2nd Kansai Tech Plan Grand Prix will be held with the aim of discovering and fostering teams with the science and technology and passion found in Kansai.

Kick-off event
RIVERNESS, partner companies, and entry teams (applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when capacity is reached) will gather and interact with each other. Participants will be able to consult with each other and develop business partnerships. Participation and content of the event will not be considered in the screening process.

Entry Deadline
We will review the application documents based on the information submitted by the entry deadline. Applicants will be asked to submit information about their team, skills, passions, and future plans via web form and video. All applicants will be notified of the screening results and will receive feedback on their applications if they wish.

Finalists announced
Interviews will be held for applicants who pass the document screening to brush up their presentation for the Grand Prix. Interviews can also be arranged with partner companies for the purpose of business consultation and collaboration development.

The 2nd Kansai Tech Plan Grand Prix
Contestants will give a 7-minute presentation and participate in a 7-minute Q&A session with a panel of judges from Liverness, Inc. and partner companies. The Grand Prix will be held in closed session with contestants and partner companies. After the judging, an award ceremony will be held.

- Born in 1981. Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. Received his Master's degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology. Master of Science. In 2018, he established the Monozukuri Research Center and became its director. He also founded NEST EdLAB, an online school for elementary and junior high school students, and has served as its representative since November 2023.
