- Scientific and technological "seeds" are being created in universities, research institutes, and corporate laboratories, but it takes a lot of effort before they sprout into practical applications. The Tech Planter, organized by LIVERNESS and its partners, is an ecosystem that aims to serve as a planter to discover these seeds and help them sprout into businesses. The Lifetech Grand Prix aims to discover and nurture technologies and entrepreneurs that contribute to the pursuit of enriched lives and lifestyles, including healthcare, nursing care, food, exercise, sensing, birth, development, DeathTech, lifelogging, communication, inclusion, body enhancement, behavior change, sensitivity, safety, education, individuality, culture, and pets. The program is designed to discover and nurture seeds and entrepreneurs.

All applicants will be notified of the screening results and provided with feedback on their applications.

- D., Pharmacist, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, founded LIVERNESS in 2002 with only undergraduate and graduate students of science and technology while in graduate school. After completing his doctoral studies, he worked as Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Faculty of Science, Kitasato University, Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University, and Specially Appointed Associate Professor at Keio University before assuming and concurrently serving as Professor of Advanced Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kumamoto University and Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Keio University from 2018. While conducting research and development, he has been involved in launching joint research projects with universities and research institutions and supporting the establishment of research institutes. He has also been involved in the launch of many venture companies and serves as an advisor.
