- Scientific and technological "seeds" are being created in universities, research institutes, and corporate laboratories, but it takes a lot of effort before they sprout into practical applications. The Tech Planter, organized by RIVANES and its partners, is an ecosystem that aims to serve as a planter to discover these seeds and help them sprout into business. The Marine Tech Grand Prix 2022 is a program aimed at discovering and fostering technology seeds and entrepreneurs in the real tech field (marine-related manufacturing, mobility, IoT, artificial intelligence, materials, energy, food, etc.).

A panel of judges composed of LIVERNESS and its partners will review the documents.
You will be asked to submit information about your team, skills, passions, and vision for the future via web form and video.
All applicants will be notified of the screening results and provided with feedback on their applications.
In addition, individual interviews (also online) for presentation review will be conducted for those who wish to participate.

From among all the entry teams that have participated in Tech Planter since 2014, we will select "start-ups that are likely to grow" and hold an awards ceremony. head judge Executive Officer, LIVERNESS Co.Yusuke Shinozawa
- Graduated from the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo (Master of Agricultural Science), and joined RIVANESS in 2009 after working for a PR company in 2008. In 2012, he launched the media development business, including the secretariat for the 13th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine, and supervised the manga "Shin-Antibody Monogatari. PLANTER", a seed acceleration business. In 2015, he launched the Investment Development Research Center and took on the role of growth manager at a real-tech fund, providing management and commercialization support in his main areas of responsibility: biotechnology and marine. Since 2017, he has worked with the Nippon Foundation to launch projects in marine education, entrepreneurial human resource development, and undersea exploration technology development. 2018, he became the Director of the Foundation Development Division. Started working on the theme of "founding a business" instead of starting a business. 2021-present: Executive Officer. In charge of the Human Resources Development Division.

Currently, as the head of the Resin Technology Development Department, he is involved in product development work for the division, and has been in his current position since 2020, concurrently serving in other capacities. Kearney) for about 7 years and in information communication related venture companies (Forval Telecom, Cybozu, Feed Path) for about 12 years, he joined Yahoo Japan in 2011 upon the acquisition by Yahoo Japan of Feed Path, of which he was the representative. After working in new business planning, M&A, and group company management, he joined Tsuneishi Holdings in October 2015 and took charge of the corporate planning department as an executive officer in January 2016 (current position). In April of the same year, he established Tsuneishi Capital Partners, a CVC subsidiary, and became President and Representative Director (current position).

- After working for a major chemical manufacturer and a healthcare manufacturer, he is currently struggling to launch a new business within a major company at DIC Corporation. His background is in polymer science. After conducting structural control research on hydrophilic resins and urethane resins at a major chemical manufacturer, he developed a number of functional chemical products. He was the youngest person at the time to receive the Best Invention of the Year Award. At a healthcare manufacturer, he planned a wide range of new businesses for pharmaceutical, food, and industrial applications using the food capsule technology that was his base technology. In particular, he created solutions by combining technologies from different fields, such as polymer materials x microorganisms and food materials x pheromones. Involved in business management of existing businesses while launching new businesses.

- Graduated from the Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo in 1999. He joined Nippon Suisan Kaisha, Ltd. in the same year. After joining the company, he worked at the Central Research Laboratory, where he was engaged in the development of processing technologies for marine products, development of functional raw materials derived from marine products, development of aquaculture feed, etc. He has been in his current position since 2014. He has been working on solving issues through open innovation in the marine products business, including aquaculture.

- He joined Focus Systems, Inc. in 1995. After working as a system development SE and IT infrastructure SE, he became a manager and then a sales manager, where he promoted the IT service business by collaborating with major customers and developing business plans and proposals. Currently, he also serves as the head of the Business Creation Office and is engaged in activities to create new businesses by building relationships with startup companies and university research laboratories. After joining Maruha Nichiro, he worked at the Central Research Laboratory, mainly in the development of production technology in the field of marine products using ICT.
